A Long Island story
Paletta has come up through some serious soccer, including East Coast Surf Soccer Club and New York City FC’s under-16 team in MLS.
Here’s the wild part. According to the Town of Oyster Bay, she’s the only girl in New York State history to compete at the MLS level on a boys team.
The Town of Oyster Bay honored her with a citation before she heads overseas. Long Island will be watching.
Go get ’em, Loradana. We’re cheering from here. Keep it locked to WLIT.FM.
