Tate McRae – “Housewife”

Tate McRae grew up in Calgary and first reached American TV as a dancer, finishing third on season 13 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2016. The pop hits came next: “Greedy” reached No. 3 on the Hot 100 in 2023 and topped the Billboard Global 200, and So Close to What (2025) became her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

“Housewife” arrived Oct. 15 with a video shot in the South of France. It’s the lead single from her fourth album, still untitled, on RCA. On The Tonight Show, she said it’s “about a woman who can’t be contained,” and that the title was “literally in my Lolla set.” She performed it at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show three days after release.

It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 2 on the Hot 100, her highest-charting song as a lead artist, per Rolling Stone. New York saw her at Madison Square Garden on the Miss Possessive Tour in 2025. Read our full story on the “Housewife” debut.

Tame Impala & JENNIE – “Dracula”

Tame Impala is the project of Kevin Parker from Perth, Australia. In February he won his first solo Grammy, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, for “End of Summer” from Deadbeat, his first largely electronic album. JENNIE is a member of BLACKPINK; her 2018 solo single “Solo” topped the South Korean charts, and her debut album Ruby opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in March 2025.

The original “Dracula” was Parker’s first-ever Hot 100 entry. Then he wanted JENNIE on it. “I really love Jennie’s voice,” he told Rolling Stone. A friend offered to message her on the spot, and JENNIE’s answer, in her words: “I said, ‘I have to jump on it immediately.'” The JENNIE Remix came out in early February 2026, after Parker teased it by wearing her merch.

It became the first Hot 100 top 10 for both artists, peaking at No. 5, and the first Pop Airplay No. 1 for both. It also topped Radio Songs. In Brooklyn, the Deadbeat Tour opened with four nights at Barclays Center in fall 2025.

Ariana Grande – “hate that i made you love me”

Ariana Grande was born in Boca Raton, Florida, and broke out as Cat Valentine on Victorious before becoming one of pop’s biggest voices. She now has 10 Hot 100 No. 1s, tied for the 10th-most ever.

“hate that i made you love me” came out May 29, 2026, as the lead single from her eighth album, petal, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its July 31 release. She wrote and produced it with Max Martin and ILYA. On Oct. 30 she added a petal bundle with “petal (angry version).”

The song debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 with 23.6 million U.S. streams and 70,000 sold in its first week. It was her 10th No. 1 and Max Martin’s record 28th as a producer. It later became her 11th Pop Airplay No. 1, which made petal her seventh straight album with a Pop Airplay No. 1, a record. Brooklyn fans saw the Eternal Sunshine Tour at Barclays Center on July 18.

Zara Larsson – “Midnight Sun”

Zara Larsson is from Sweden. She won the TV talent show Talang in 2008 at age 10, then went global with “Lush Life,” “Never Forget You” with MNEK, “Ain’t My Fault” and Clean Bandit’s “Symphony.”

“Midnight Sun” came out June 13, 2025, on Sommer House/Epic as the second single and title track of her fifth album, Midnight Sun, released that September. It hit No. 1 on Pop Airplay on the chart dated June 27, 2026, and she became the first act to score two new Pop Airplay No. 1s in back-to-back weeks, after “Stateside” with PinkPantheress.

On the Hot 100 it peaked at No. 12 and was still at No. 15 in its 39th week. In the UK it reached No. 7 and has logged 44 weeks on the Official Singles chart. On Instagram, she called her Sydney stop, with 17,569 people, “the biggest show of the Midnight Sun tour.” In New York, she played All Things Go at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens on Sept. 25.

Kygo & Ava Max – “Before You Know It”

Kygo is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a producer from Bergen, Norway, who broke out with “Firestone” in 2014. Ava Max is Amanda Koci from Milwaukee, who broke out with “Sweet but Psycho” in 2018. This year she also released “BURN” with BigXthaPlug.

“Before You Know It” came out Oct. 16, 2026, the newest song of the seven. It’s the pair’s first collaboration since 2024’s “Whatever.” Kygo produced it, and it samples Jess Glynne’s 2015 hit “Hold My Hand,” so the hook may feel familiar the first time you hear it. “Our second song together is out now,” Kygo posted on Instagram.

It’s too new for a chart peak, which makes it a true first-week add on WLIT.FM. Catch it with the rest of the list on the app and on your favorite WLIT DJ’s show this week.

Marshmello & Kelsea Ballerini – “Another Drink”

Marshmello is Christopher Comstock from Philadelphia, as Forbes reported in 2017. He broke out with “Alone” in 2016, went to No. 2 with “Happier” featuring Bastille, and has two country No. 1s with Kane Brown, “One Thing Right” and “Miles on It.” Kelsea Ballerini is from Mascot, Tennessee, near Knoxville. Her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” went No. 1 on Country Airplay, making her the first woman to do that with a debut single since Carrie Underwood in 2006. She has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since April 2019.

“Another Drink” came out June 26, 2026, on Mercury/Big Loud. “I’ve been a friend and fan of Marshmello’s for years, and we’ve always wanted to find the right thing to work on together,” Ballerini said in a statement. Marshmello said in a statement: “I loved the challenge of bringing my own approach to country production on this track.”

It’s No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs after 17 weeks, with a peak of No. 2, and it reached No. 60 on the Hot 100.

Swedish House Mafia & Lykke Li – “Happiness Is So Sad”

Swedish House Mafia is the Swedish trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. They took “Save the World” and “Don’t You Worry Child” to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart, and “Don’t You Worry Child” reached No. 6 on the Hot 100. Lykke Li, also from Sweden, has put three albums on the Billboard 200, including Wounded Rhymes and I Never Learn.

“Happiness Is So Sad” came out July 30, 2026, on DANSA, the trio’s own label. Billboard’s credits list Max Martin among the writers and Fred again.. among the producers. The music video arrived Sept. 24.

It’s No. 1 on this week’s WARM Top 20, the world’s dance radio chart you hear every night at 7 on WLIT.FM, and Billboard counted seven straight weeks on top by mid-October. It also hit No. 1 on Dance Airplay, the trio’s fourth and Lykke Li’s first No. 1 on any U.S. Billboard chart. In September she played The Met in Manhattan, and on Instagram she called New York the place “where it all started.”
