A Long Island story
This one means a lot to the family. Taylor lost both of her grandmothers within six months this year, and her mom, Tracey Thorne, says the contest has given her something happy to focus on.
Her mom describes a creative kid who turns cardboard and tape into art and has even made clothes out of balloons. Even better, she says, Taylor loves people and loves to help them. Sounds like superhero material to us.
Her friends are already voting. Let’s get all of Long Island in on it. Cast your free vote on her contest page before Thursday night, and keep it locked to WLIT.FM.
