Game 4: Rays 4, Brewers 3
Chandler Simpson put Tampa Bay ahead in the 2nd with an RBI double that scored Jonny DeLuca. Cooper Pratt tied it in the 4th with an RBI double. In the bottom half, Junior Caminero scored on a DeLuca fielder’s choice and a throwing error by third baseman David Hamilton, a call that stood on a Brewers challenge. Hamilton made up for it in the 5th with a solo homer off Rays starter Griffin Jax, and it stayed 2-2 through 11 innings.
Pratt struck again in the 12th with a solo homer off Ian Seymour for a 3-2 Brewers lead. Then the Rays answered. DeLuca singled home Cedric Mullins to tie it, and Ben Williamson lined a single to right that scored Nick Fortes to end it. Shane Drohan took the loss. A crowd of 40,514 watched a game that ran 4 hours and 20 minutes.
