Halloween finally landed on a Saturday, and it brought a bonus.
At 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 1, daylight saving time ends and the clocks go back to 1:00 AM. That means Halloween night on Long Island runs one hour longer than any other Saturday this year. Same costume, same crew, one more hour on the dance floor.
Here are 10 places in Nassau and Suffolk to spend it.
One note before you head out: bars in Nassau and Suffolk can serve until 4 AM under state rules, but every venue sets its own closing time. Check your spot’s posted hours, plan your ride home, and if you’re drinking, don’t drive.
