Michael Bisping won a UFC title with one good eye. Now “The Count” wants your ears.
On Oct. 3, the former UFC middleweight champion posted to Instagram: “New tech house mix available on my SoundCloud if you like that kind of thing. Link in my story or search Mike Bisping on SoundCloud.”
The mix is titled “THE COUNT. TECH HOUSE SEPTEMER 2026” (his spelling), a 63-minute tech house set. His SoundCloud bio keeps it simple: “Former UFC middleweight champ of the world and formerly a DJ.”
Meet DJ Mikey B
This isn’t a celebrity side quest. On his Believe You Me podcast this summer, Bisping told guest Robert Whittaker he used to DJ at nightclubs “back in the day,” and that “they weren’t the most glamorous places.” When Whittaker asked for his DJ name, Bisping said: “DJ Mikey B. Very inventive. Mikey B. Let’s go!” (via MMA Sucka).
House music page HAVEN (@techhousehaven) spotted the mix and shared his backstory, saying he started DJing at 16 and played house, techno and trance for 15 years before his UFC career took off.
His SoundCloud backs it up. There are progressive house sets from 2012, old-school trance and 90s piano house from 2020 and 2021, and a run of tech house mixes since September 2025, including a “Pre Ibiza set” this September.
The fighter who changed UFC history
Bisping knocked out Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 in 2016 to become the first British fighter to win a UFC title, years after losing the sight in his right eye. He went into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2019.
