After the honor, Rymer plays live with The Little Band That Could, his old crew From Good Homes and members of the Laurie Berkner Band. Three bands, one night, all part of his story.
A Long Island story
Rymer was a founding member and bass player in From Good Homes, a band that toured with Dave Matthews Band, Hootie & the Blowfish and Bob Dylan. Then he pivoted to family music in 2000 and never looked back: 14 studio albums and Grammy nods for “Press Play,” “Just Say Hi!” and “Here Comes Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could.”
He also plays sensory-friendly shows for kids with autism and special needs, and he has sat on LIMEHOF’s education board for close to 10 years. His reaction, per Patch: “I never imagined I’d become an inductee myself!”
Congrats, Brady. Long Island makes great music, and we’ll keep playing it. Keep it locked to WLIT.FM.
