The one everybody’s going to talk about is The Team. It’s a burrito packed with mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, potatoes, bacon, cheese, sour cream and Bang Bang sauce. Manager Pamela Lepine’s advice: “Bring your appetite.”
Her own go-tos are the fajita burrito and the All-American, which is steak, fries, bacon and cheese in one wrap.
A Long Island story
Brothers Frank and Joseph Carbone started Bang Bang with Barbara Pagliarulo in West Islip back in 2019. Since then they’ve added Manhasset and Bay Shore, and now Wantagh. Two more are on the way next spring.
Lepine says the goal is more than food. They want regulars, and they want you to feel welcome when you walk in. Homegrown, growing and stuffing mozz sticks into burritos. That’s Long Island.
Go hungry, and keep it locked to WLIT.FM.
