Halloween weekend is officially in the books, and Hollywood showed up. Here are the celebrity costumes everyone is talking about, from Paris Hilton turning into Britney to Lizzo honoring Dolly.
Paris Hilton as Britney Spears
Paris went full 2001 VMAs, recreating Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U” performance, yes, including the snake. It was one of several costumes she’s rolled out this Halloween season.
Lizzo as Dolly Parton
Lizzo paid tribute to Dolly Parton, who died in August, and sang “Jolene” in costume. She also shared that Dolly once asked her to play flute on one of her albums. (Lizzo had a second look too: Gina Byrams, Playboy’s first International Bunny of the Year in 1970.)
Brandy as Barbie
Brandy went Barbie. “Being one of the first Black women to have a Barbie made in my likeness will always mean so much to me,” she wrote on Instagram.
Zendaya as Halle Berry
Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach posted her channeling Halle Berry’s iconic Lanvin Fall 2000 look, the one Halle wore to the New York City premiere of X-Men.
Robert Downey Jr. and Pedro Pascal swap roles
The Avengers: Doomsday co-stars pulled a Marvel switch. RDJ dressed as Pedro’s Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, and Pedro went as RDJ’s Doctor Doom.
More costumes we loved
The Today show’s NBC 100 tour. The hosts turned 30 Rock into a tour of 100 years of NBC. Savannah Guthrie led the group as an NBC page, then switched into Rachel Green next to Jenna Bush Hager’s Phoebe Buffay from Friends. Craig Melvin went as Snoop Dogg, and the real Martha Stewart joined him.
Kelly and Mark as Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga. On Live! With Kelly and Mark‘s Halloween “Shockin’ Eve,” Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos took the stage as Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga from the Super Bowl halftime show. Guest Lisa Rinna came as Kylie Jenner, in her orange Marty Supreme premiere look.
Usher’s family as Toy Story. “Happy Halloween from the Raymond family,” Usher wrote.
