Santa Claus Arrives by Helicopter for the Holtsville Ecology Center’s Annual Tree Lighting!

Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style! Santa Claus is making his grand entrance by helicopter at the Holtsville Ecology Center’s much-anticipated annual tree lighting on December 6th, according to Brookhaven Town officials.

The festive evening promises fun for the whole family, featuring live musical entertainment, visits from costumed characters, free candy canes, and warm cups of hot chocolate to keep you cozy. Generous sponsors include Texas Roadhouse, Dairy Queen, WBLI/WBAB, La Fiesta, Big 98.1, Eastern Helicopters, New York Cancer and Blood Specialists, and the Holtsville Fire Department.

Festivities will begin with character visits at 5:30 p.m., leading up to the main event at 6 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot and enjoy all the holiday fun!
