STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Long Island is getting a sitcom-sized homecoming. The Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) will debut an immersive new exhibit, “Everybody Loves Raymond: Celebrating 30 Years,” on Friday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. at its museum on 97 Main St., Stony Brook. The experience brings fans inside the Barone family’s world with rare artifacts, photo ops, and—headliner alert—a 70-foot-wide set built for the show’s 30th-anniversary TV special.

What you’ll see

This isn’t a glass-case memorabilia show. It’s designed as a walk-through, hands-on fan experience that includes:

  • The full-scale set constructed for the 30th Anniversary Reunion special (airing on CBS/Paramount+ in November).

  • Photo moments on the Barone living-room couch and in Frank’s recliner.

  • Iconic props and deep-cut artifacts (think the “big fork and spoon,” kitchen canisters, toaster, scripts, and production notes).

  • Wardrobe pieces from Ray, Debra, Marie, Frank, Robert, and Amy, plus behind-the-scenes footage and never-before-seen images from the production archives.

The exhibit is billed as exclusive to LIMEHOF and supported by key figures from the series—part of a broader, anniversary-year celebration.

Why it belongs on Long Island

Though filmed in Los Angeles, Everybody Loves Raymond is set on Long Island (Lynbrook) and follows Newsday sportswriter Ray Barone and his hilariously close-quarters family. Bringing the 30-year tribute to Stony Brook gives local fans a chance to step into a sitcom that has referenced our neighborhoods, attitudes, and family dynamics since its 1996 premiere—a show that went on to win 15 Emmys across nine seasons.

Plan your visit

  • Opening day: Friday, Nov. 28, 11:00 a.m.

  • Where: Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame, 97 Main St., Stony Brook (in Stony Brook Village).

  • Tickets & hours: Check LIMEHOF’s website for current museum hours, admission, parking, and accessibility details.

Bonus TV moment to watch

The exhibit ties directly to the 30th Anniversary Reunion broadcast, hosted by Ray Romano with appearances from Phil Rosenthal and the core cast. The special features tributes to beloved late stars and showcases the newly built set now making its way to Stony Brook.

Bring the family, warm up those one-liners, and get ready to sit on the most famous couch in Long Island TV history.
