Jones Beach Concert Update: The 2026 summer lineup keeps getting bigger

May 31, 20268 min read

WANTAGH, N.Y. — The 2026 concert season at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater is turning into one of the most packed summer calendars Long Island has seen in years. What started with a handful of early announcements has now grown into a full waterfront season loaded with classic rock, country, pop, comedy, hip-hop, freestyle, alternative, and nostalgia tours.

From Triumph opening the season on June 5 to Logic and G-Eazy closing out September, Jones Beach is giving Long Islanders almost four straight months of major nights on the bay.

And yes — more shows may still be added as summer gets closer.

Ticket availability, pricing, fees, and offers may vary by show.

Why this Jones Beach season feels bigger

Jones Beach is always a Long Island summer staple, but the 2026 calendar has a little bit of everything.

Classic rock fans get Rod Stewart, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, Deep Purple, Kansas, John Fogerty, Steve Winwood, John Mellencamp, Toto, The Guess Who, Don Felder, Triumph, and April Wine.

Country fans get Riley Green, Tim McGraw, Zach Top, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Tyler Hubbard, Justin Moore, Drake White, Carter Faith, Josh Ross, and more.

Pop and nostalgia fans get Kesha, Ashanti, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Akon, Pitbull, The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue, Howard Jones, Wang Chung, Modern English, and The English Beat.

There are also some bigger “event” nights, including Beatstock, KIDZ BOP, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jeff Dunham & Gabriel Iglesias, Outlaw Music Festival, and the Jones Beach Air Show / Fourth of July weekend.

In other words, this is not just a concert schedule. It is basically Long Island’s summer entertainment calendar.

What stands out this year

The biggest thing about the 2026 Jones Beach lineup is how balanced it is. It is not just one genre carrying the season.

Classic rock has a huge presence, with Rod Stewart, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Toto, Chicago, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, Deep Purple, Kansas, John Fogerty, Steve Winwood, John Mellencamp, Triumph, The Guess Who, Don Felder, and The Beach Boys all on the calendar.

Country has a very strong summer too, especially with Riley Green, Tim McGraw, Zach Top, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, and the Outlaw Music Festival.

The pop and party side is also covered with Kesha, Ashanti, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Akon, Pitbull, The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue, Howard Jones, Wang Chung, and Beatstock.

For heavier rock fans, Jones Beach has Godsmack, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Lamb of God, Black Label Society, Chevelle, Seether, Hoobastank, Hinder, Thrice, Saves The Day, Deep Purple, Kansas, and more.

And for comedy, the venue has a strong run with Jeff Dunham & Gabriel Iglesias in August, followed by two Sebastian Maniscalco shows.

The Jones Beach experience is part of the show

Jones Beach is not just another amphitheater. It is one of Long Island’s signature summer experiences.

You have the water, the breeze, the sunset, the drive over the bridges, and that feeling that you are stepping into a summer tradition. Whether it is a classic rock crowd, a country tailgate, a pop singalong, a freestyle dance party, or a heavy rock night, Jones Beach has a way of making concerts feel like full Long Island events.

That is also why planning matters. A Jones Beach show is not something you want to rush into at the last minute.

What Long Islanders should know before going

Arrive early if you want less stress with parking. Traffic can build quickly on Ocean Parkway, especially for weekend shows, sold-out concerts, and nights where beach traffic overlaps with concert traffic.

Bring layers. Even on hot summer days, the breeze off the water can make the venue feel cooler at night.

Check the bag policy before leaving the house. Security rules are enforced, and the last thing anyone wants is to walk back to the car before a show.

Expect mobile tickets and cashless/contactless payments. Make sure your phone is charged, your tickets are loaded, and your group has a plan before getting to the gate.

Weather matters. Jones Beach is an outdoor venue, and most shows are rain or shine unless the venue announces otherwise. Keep an eye on the forecast and plan accordingly.

How to get tickets

With this many major shows on the Jones Beach calendar, some nights will move quickly — especially peak weekend concerts, major country shows, classic rock legends, comedy dates, and nostalgia-heavy lineups.

Before buying, always review the event date, seat location, delivery method, fees, and refund terms. Ticket availability and offers vary by show.

WLIT.FM takeaway

The 2026 Jones Beach season is officially stacked. Whether you are there for classic rock, country, pop nostalgia, comedy, hip-hop, EDM, freestyle, or heavy rock, there is probably at least one night on this schedule that feels built for you.

As more shows are announced, WLIT.FM will keep updating the calendar so Long Islanders can plan their summer early.
